What is SIL?
Support that helps participants live with confidence
Supported Independent Living, also known as SIL, is daily support for NDIS participants who need help to live as independently as possible. This may include personal care, meal preparation, household routines, overnight support, behaviour support and help building everyday living skills.
Treasure Disability Care focuses on calm, respectful support that helps each person feel safe, understood and included in their home and community.

SIL FAQs
Is SIL the same as SDA?
No. SIL is the support provided to help a participant live in a home. SDA is specialist housing for eligible participants with very high support or functional needs.
Can families or support coordinators make a referral?
Yes. Families, guardians, hospitals and support coordinators can use our referral page or contact the team directly.
Do you support complex needs?
Yes. Suitability depends on the person, funding, behaviour support requirements, staffing model and available accommodation pathway.
