What is the NDIS?

NDIS full form, National Disability Insurance Scheme, is an Australian Government scheme for people with disabilities under the age of 65. The scheme is designed with an aim to provide complete support to Australians with disabilities, their families, and career. Under this scheme, people with disabilities will enjoy greater flexibility and alternatives of support and services to meet their personal needs. The NDIS is a system where people with disabilities have direct and complete control over the funding they receive. With this, people with disabilities under the age of 65 can live a standard life and participate in the activities they wished for.
